Bio

My name is Brent Reser. If you ever can’t remember my last name, just remember that it is spelled the same way backwards as it is frontwards (Visual: R-E-S-E-R). I live my life by my personal motto of Don’t Blink and people define me as an eternal optimist and a lover of life.

I grew up in Spokane, Washington, in an amazing household in the north part of the city. My childhood was spent participating in athletics, whether it was in the organized form in a gym or the pickup form tearing up my dad’s front yard playing whiffle ball. I attended Mead High School where I received inspiration from a couple great teachers and where I continued to play sports. I graduated high school in 2005 and then shifted to the next chapter of my life.

In August of 2005, I moved to Missoula to begin college at The University of Montana. I had a very rewarding four years as a student at UM. I developed a whole new network of friends and grew accustomed with the Montana way of life.

I graduated from college in May of 2009. In July of that year I was hired by the athletic department of my alma mater as the Assistant Marketing Director. Two years later I became the Director of New Media.

In early 2014 I accepted a position with Coastal Carolina University as the Social Media and Online Marketing Coordinator. During the summer of 2018 I was promoted to Assistant Director for Digital Media.

I moved back west in March 2020 after accepting a senior social media position at Washington State University.

On June 11, 2016, I married my best friend, Sidney Reser (formerly Sidney Mathis). The best days of my life came on March 17, 2017, when our daughter, Sloan Anne Reser, was born and on February 5, 2020, when our son, Beau Thomas Reser, was born.

Don’t Blink.

  1. Brent, I just want to say you are an outstanding writer. You had a great write-up about my business right when we opened our doors to the public. I’m referring to Tom Dooley’s grilled hotdogs. Your great review has helped us tremendously and I want to say thank you for that. Being a new business that is crucial to our survival in Missoula. As far as our products go, we’ve changed things up a lot; for the better. I was hoping I could entice you to come in and give our new menu a shot. Your meal would be on me of course. Please let me know if this is possible.

    Thank
